I’m glad you stumbled upon this blog. I want to take the time to welcome you to Health for Nurses.

Quite self-explanatory, right? If you happen to be a nurse, let it be a LPN, a RN, NP, CRNA, CNS or NDPE or any other professional working in the health care sector, this blog is for you. I believe there is something that connects us all: we thrive to take care of our patients to the best of our abilities, sometimes even more than we take care of ourselves: the hard-working 12-hour shifts, the OTs ,the weekend shifts, the night shifts, the rotations…this field has no profession for the weak! All this stress adds up and takes a toll on our body, mind and spirit.

I think it’s time to change things a bit. I firmly believe it’s possible to balance things out, and I hope this website will empower you on your quest to a better physical, mental and financial health. That’s the goal!

In this blog, you’ll find guidance and tools to help you in your crazy daily life being a nurse. You’ll also find pieces of me, of my experience being a nurse. I want this blog to be a medium where discussions take place, because there is healing in sharing. Sometimes, it’s about being reminded of a few things that can make a difference in your life.
